How do you feel Melbourne Music Bank will best benefit your goals?
The main goal is to have fun and then try and pass that on to others. Playing live and sharing ourselves in any form benefits that goal.
What inspired you to apply for Melbourne Music Bank?
We’ve made music for us. We love doing that and love the finished product. Others started to really urge us to go pursue it. So we have, MMB is the starting point to test us and have some fun too.
If you could perform anywhere in the world, where would it be why?
Probably a G20 summit room when they are in session. They do nothing anyway so why not play a gig, perhaps we can motivate.
What sort of impact are you hoping your music will make on listeners/other music artists in the world?
So far a lot of the tunes are interpretive, positive interpretive though. As long as it has a positive impact, which can vary from person to person, we don’t mind.
How do you perceive the music industry today?
It’s tough. Which certainly isn’t a deterrent nor should it be for anyone. Anyone thinking of taking it on should go hard at it. We are about to.
Why do you think it’s so difficult to break into the international music circuit?
One would think with ever growing connectivity in the world it would be getting easier. Good question.
