Define your genre in five words or less:
Kick-arse heavy riffage.
When’s the gig and with who?
Second Annual Merry Riffmas gig at The Tote on Friday December 27 with Seedy Jeezus, Wildeornes and Thermal Mass. Free BBQ, Riff Kringle and door prizes. Last year’s Riffmas was a blast and this year is shaping up to be even bigger and better.
Do you have any record releases to date? What are they? Where can I get them?
Our debut EP CD Fistful of Riffs is available at gigs or digital download at rifffist.com. We have a 7″ For a Few Riffs More in the can that we will be launching early in the new year.
Why should everyone come and see your band?
Because we provide the perfect soundtrack for chugging beers, headbanging and dancing your arse off.
Do you have a pre-gig ritual? If so, what is it?
We try to spend the day listening to Lords of the Riff such as Iommi or Wino to gain inspiration and to feel the power of the riff course through our veins to enhance our performance.
What advice would you give to bands that are new on the Melbourne music scene?
Play more riffs!
