Not house music.
So, someone is walking past as you guys are playing, they then go get a beer and tell their friend about you… what do they say?
If they had any sort of sanity, they’d quickly regret buying that beer, skull it, then come back for a wicked party with us, dragging their mate along with them.
How long have you been gigging and writing?
Walker was originally a solo project of mine, I got the chance to support some great folk acts such as Woodlock, Shaun Kirk and Buffalo Tales, but we’ve been a band now for almost a year.
Which band would you most like to have a battle/showdown with?
Probably Kanye. Settle the debate once and for all. Walker or Kanye.
What inspires or has influenced your music the most?
The genius lyrics of Paul Kelly, guitar hooks from The Edge, mad vocals of Alabama Shakes.
What do you think a band has to do these days to succeed?
I think the best way to go about it is to dream small, and act big. Make a big deal out of every song you release, play every gig like it’s your last.

We have just released our second single Tonight, available on triple j Unearthered, along with our first release.
