The three year multi-faceted program will offer promising contemporary music artists, industry personnel, live music events and venues greater exposure to the established musicians and industry leaders fronting music in Victoria.
Reputable figures will lead a special mentorship program, masterclasses as well as skill and business development agendas for anyone in the early stages of their music career – including performers, promoters, producers, technicians and more.
Victoria non-profit youth music organisation, The Push has partnered with the Labor Government to deliver Music Under Wings.
Music Victoria will also manage a specialist Live Music Professional Development program which will support small music venues and independent promoters, especially those in regional Victoria, to build sustainable businesses.
