Whole Lotta Love
All of the owners have been long time drinking partners, so they decided to be business partners, partners in crime, and of course have been passionate music fanatics since birth, so it had to have music as well as beer.
How long have you been operating?
What do you feel is your major attraction?
Many people have commented on the atmosphere of the place. Bands love to play here because the room is easy to fill and we are all about growing and nurturing the local scene.
What was your favorite show in the last six months and why?
Definitely Josie from Tequila Mockingbyrd's birthday gig. The T-Byrds dressed up as Blink 182 and played a few of their hits. The night was high energy and everyone was having a great time.
Could you nominate a bartender of the month?
All our bartenders are full of awesome but Jessie is known to launch herself at regulars and squeeze them into bear hugs.
How many nights of live music and entertainment are running at your venue?
We are open five nights a week, Wednesday-Sunday and have live music on every night.
How to get there?
We're on tram lines 1 and 8, plus there's plenty of parking on Lygon Street.
Are you available for functions?
We have a great package for private functions and are happy to cater to individual needs.
We have so much diverse music including rock, metal, punk, blues and acoustic, so depends on the night. There is a great beer garden, so we do attract smokers.
Wednesday–Thursday: 5.00pm-11pm Friday: 3pm-1am Saturday: 1pm-1am Sunday: 3pm-11pm
Generally there will be a cover charge on Friday and Saturday nights, around $10. It depends on who is playing. It's up to the bands to set the door charge as they are the ones taking it home.
You can’t do better than our $5 pizza! Any pizza, $5.
Always great bands, atmosphere, drinks and the Led Zeppelin wallpaper murals.
