St Kilda Festival Reveal First Acts For 2015
St Kilda Festival have revealed the first round of acts that will grace the stages in 2015.
Over 120 bands will play at the 2015 incarnation. The acts announced today include Audego, Mau Power, I Know The Chief, Murdena, Forest Falls, Simone and Girlfunkle, Better Than The Wizards, Echo Drama, Jude Perl, The D.Y.E., Benny Walker, The Deans, Belle Roscoe, Centre and The South and The Fabric.
The 2015 festival will showcase music, visual arts, street performance, film, poetry and comedy culminating with the Festival Sunday, where around 400,000 festival goers will enjoy a wide variety of Australian music and interactive activities.
“The St Kilda Festival has a rich history of bringing more than 400,000 family and friends together to enjoy and discover Australian music, arts and culture with nine full days of entertainment,” said Ms, Denison. "It’s an opportunity to bring not only established musicians to the stage but also emerging artists showcasing great talent in the heart of St Kilda.”
The 2015 festival will kicks off on Saturday January 31 and will continue until Sunday February 8. For more information go to their website.
