Rita Satch

Modern-day siren Rita Satch is presenting an intimate preview of brand-new material ahead of her album launch.

Matching her sultry vocals is support from a line-up of musicians that includes Daniel Mougerman (piano) Angus Radley (bass) and Lachlan Mitchell (guitar).

“I’m looking to forward to sharing new songs and stories at Kew Court House for the first time. It will be myself, my guitarist, pianist and bassist – no drums, and nothing else to hide behind. A raw, and honest performance of music I will be releasing this year, this will be a very special evening.” Rita Satch

The intimate space will have theatre-style seating for the hour and 50-minute concert, including intermission. Boroondara Arts Bar will be open.

Satch is an unforgettable presence in Australia’s neo-soul movement.

Since becoming a finalist in the prestigious 2020 National Jazz Awards she’s toured Australia and the world, performing at Glastonbury, Cheltenham Jazz Festival (UK) and Melbourne International Jazz Festival, and has released two EPs.
Satch frequently collaborates with Australia’s leading musicians, including jazz pianist Barney McAll, who featured her on his latest ARIA nominated 2022 release Precious Energy.

Satch has received prestigious accolades for her songwriting, including first prize in the Unsigned Only Music Competition and was a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition in 2015.
