Overlooking Australia’s largest brewery and the home to some of Australia’s favourite beers including Carlton Draught, Victoria Bitter and Carlton Dry, The Carlton Brewhouse is the ultimate hub for those taking a visit to the legendary Carlton & United Breweries.

The historic Abbotsford location has seen a variety of upgrades recently including ‘Live Music Sundays’ and brand new audio visual elements including historic displays throughout the brewery tour rooms. To top it off, the recent installation of a brewery fresh unpasteurized beer tank is sure to ensure guests can taste the freshest Carlton Draught in the country.

First and foremost, a trip to the Carlton Brewhouse sees punters heading out on a beer expedition, following the River of Beer through which 150,000 litres of fresh beer flows each day. Visitors are given the inside look at 150 years of brewing history as they take in the sheer size of the truly iconic Melbourne facility. A guided Tour & Tasting includes a tour of the brewery with a tasting of six brews from the extensive range and runs for approximately ninety minutes. Guests can also choose the Beer & Food tour that runs for approximately two hours and includes a serving of specially prepared food which is matched perfectly with their fresh, cold beers.

The Carlton Brewhouse is home to its own in-house bar and café, boasting a range of tasty brewery beer and food choices. There are also a selection of wines, soft drinks, teas & coffee available. With friendly bar staff to guide you through their collection of brewery fresh beers, the Carlton Brewhouse is the perfect place to indulge all of your senses. Tasting paddles are also available for those who just simply cannot choose one.
