Beginning December 3 and running until 18 December, indulge in the chance to see something truly fascinating and bizarre. Nerissa Johns will be opening her first solo art exhibit, aptly titled Antrozoologic.
Nerissa recently graduated from COFA with a degree in Fine Arts and her specialty is human animal interaction. In Antrozoologic, she explores mutants and genetic anomalies in an intriguingly weird display of ‘monster’ and ‘beasts’. Nerissa is fascinated by these abnormalities that have occurred throughout history; people with deformities or just plain mythology. Her approach to these ‘freaks’ is soft and sympathetic – not to be missed.
Anthrozoologic opens at The Owl and the Pussycat December 3 at 6pm.
