ONE-OFF: The annual Jeez Louise address will take place tonight. Melbourne comedian Rachel Berger will mine the personal experiences she’s had in the last 28 years of her career to address many of the things she wish she knew when she first started performing stand-up. 6pm tonight at the Town Hall.

OPENING: Two shows open their doors for short runs at MICF today:

Mandy Nolan – Home Truths. 7.30pm tonight through Saturday at the Newport Bowls Club.

Sam Rankin – Wake Up, Sheeple! 2.0. 6pm tonight through Saturday, 5pm Sunday at the Tuxedo Cat.

THURSDAYS ONLYNorth Side Story is back tonight to finish it’s run at MICF. 9pm at the Melba Spiegeltent in Collingwood. Also back is Alan Smithee’s Screen Test – the movie comedy quiz show featuring Andy Matthews and Claire Sullivan. 10.45pm at the Tuxedo Cat.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE: If you speak Greek or just love your comedy in languages other than English, Kaerina Vrana performs her show About Sex in Greek tonight. 7.30pm at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow.

VENUE MOVE: Reminder, Aunty Donna move from ACMI tonight and tomorrow to the Forum upstairs. 9.45pm, tickets marked ACMI remain valid.

TIME MOVE: Demi Lardner and Angus Brown’s sketch show Best Good Show is moving times this week. See it 9.30pm tonight through Saturday, 10.30pm Sunday at Hairy Little Sista.

EXTRA SHOWS: After our lengthy extra show update yesterday, four more acts have announced extra editions:

Corey White – The Cane Toad Effect. 7.15pm Friday and Saturday at the Portland Hotel.

Nick Cody – Beard Game Strong. Friday 9.45pm, Saturday 11pm at ACMI.
David Quirk – Thrasher. 10.45pm Friday at Fast Times Skateboards in the City.
Hannah Gadsby – Donkey. 4.30pm Sunday at the Melbourne Town Hall.

FAMILY: School holidays might be over, but that doesn’t mean The (very) Big Laugh Out is over. Frenchman Mathieu Moustache presents Circo, Musica y Flamenco! 5pm today at the City Square Pitch, entry is free.

EXHIBITIONS: Two comedy related exhibitions are open today – both of them are free as well. That’s Funny, an exhibition on wacky, weird, and sometimes outrageous is open from 9am at Arts Project Australia, and Peter Milne’s exhibition The Oddfellow’s Daughter is open at ACMI from 10am.
