Today on the show we have two great Kiwi guests who together host podcast The Worst Idea of All Time – Tim Batt and Guy Montgomery. Tim’s show Tim Batt Explores The Human Experience is on tonight at 7.20pm tonight, and various times next Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at Caz Reitops Dirty Secrets in Collingwood. Guy is a member of improv collective Snort, whose show Snort with Friends is on tonight at 6.15pm, and Tuesday through Saturday at 6pm at the Portland Hotel. Guy’s stand-up show with Rose Matafeo, Rose Matafeo and Guy Montgomery Are Friends starts April 7 at the Portland Hotel. Tim and Guy’s podcast The Worst Idea of All Time can be found on iTunes

Acclaimed British comic Daniel Kitson brings you Polyphony. Noon at the Northcote Town Hall.
The Exford Hotel hosts two afternoon shows. Ashes: The Comedy Showdown at 1.30. The Best of British 3.30pm.
Michael Chamberlin lets you know his Thoughts. 4pm, Imperial Hotel.
Also at 4pm, variety show Love Bites takes place at the Downstairs Lounge at the Grand Mercure Hotel.
Celia Pacquola’s show Let Me Know How It All Works Out happens 4.30pm at the Victoria Hotel.
Terry North’s Who’s Your Daddy?: The Funny Side of Parenthood has an extra edition. 4.30pm at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow.
Rod Quantock & Fiona Scott-Norman reveal Drivetime with Two Leggy Redheads. 4.30pm at the Famous Spiegeltent. Over at The Hi-Fi, an afternoon edition of Puddles Pity Party. Also at 4.30pm.
At 4.45pm it’s an afternoon extra edition of Steen Raskopoulos’s Character Assassin. Melbourne Town Hall. And Damian Callinan reads from The Lost WWI Diary, 4.45pm at the Town Hall.
It’s a Battle of The Superheroes: The Great Superhero Debate, 5pm at the Joint. Over at Spiegelworld, an early edition of Absinthe takes place at 5pm as well.
Finally, Bryony Kimmings & Tim Grayburn acclaimed Fake It ‘Til You Make It has an early edition at 5pm at Theatre Works.


FAMILY: Plenty of family comedy happening all day as well:

The (very) Big Laugh Out hosts three editions today. At the City Square Pitch it’s Mr Moriyasu at 11.30am, and Justin Sane at 12.30pm. Then at 2.30pm over at Federation Square, the showcase show features Anna Pocket Rocket Lumb, Mr Moriyasu, Becky Hoops, Sharon From Canada, and Trash Test Dummies.

At 10.30am, Sabrina D’Angelo’s show Zen the Pigeon Girl takes off from the Northcote Town Hall
At 11am, Madeleine Culp and Shane Matheson show us some Dinosaur Guts. Melbourne Town Hall. Also at the Town Hall: Harley Breen & Heath Franklin in Captain Fun Pants and the Mystery of the Fun-o-Matic Fun Wand and Trash Test Dummies.
Matty Grey’s Age-Less 3: Dreamweaver vs The Nightmare Child runs at the Northcote Town Hall from 11.30am.

Improvilicious: The Improvised Guide to High School holds court at the Melbourne Town Hall from 1.30pm. Also at 1.30pm – Josh Earl in My Family’s Weirder Than Your Family.
At 2pm choose between Alex and Luke’s Make Your Parents Disappear at The Famous Spiegeltent or Mr Snot Bottom and The Curse Of The Stinky Silly Zombie Babies at the Melbourne Town Hall.
At 3.15pm, Huggers: The Family Friendly Comedy Show is on at Pleasance House.
Martz Putz in Putzin Around comes to Dockland’s Wonderland Spiegeltent. 3.30pm.
And ONGALS present their Babbling Comedy, 6pm at The Famous Spiegeltent.
