Is there anything in this world more fucking painful and debilitating that FOMO? For those less not familiar with this totally hip, young vernacular, it's netspeak (hahaha, that's something my mum says) for Fear Of Missing Out. Right now I have the most crushing case known to man and it's quite devastating.

You see, a small fraction of my friends and loved ones are presently...

Facebook is pretty much my girlfriend. I spend a lot of time on her. She annoys me with the constant question "what's on your mind?". She reads all my stuff and wants to know what my friends are doing. Now every time I go somewhere she wants me to 'check-in'. Hey I know I agreed to this relationship, but for goodness sake can I please get SOME privacy!?

So the question on...

This isn’t a Paul Walker flick,

But a classic that’s stylish and slick,

Gosling’s impressive,

Quiet/aggressive,

Extreme violence could make you feel sick.

RAWR!

You know what's weird about music, is that it's way less melodramatic behind the scenes than those two other forks in the entertainment trident. You've got billion-dollar video games publishers being as corrupt as anything and those endless miles of self-important bullshit in Hollywood, but rarely do I encounter the same when communing with men and women of music...

Hay guys! Remember how you've been waiting, like, forever to see Weezer live and how no one, not even the most cashed up, persuasive promoters can lure these guys to our shores. Well never mind that, it's all going to be okay because Good Charlotte, those dudes in the fedoras who penned a couple of mildly tolerable pop rock tunes a decade ago and now make money by dating celebrities and...

My longest and best friend in the whole wide world called me up the other day. This was the conversation:

Me: "Hey loser face."
Mate: "Sup?"
Me: "Nothing, what's going on with you?"
Mate: "I've got a favour to ask."
Me: "Go."
Mate: "You can say no."
Me: "That tells me I probably will."
Mate: "Well you can make some sweet...

Not as good as O’Donnell and Sheen’s,

But will appeal to more than just teens,

Plenty of fighting,

3D, it’s exciting,

It’s Pirates lacking Depp in the scenes.

Even if you’re not into bike racing,

You’ll still find this film quite amazing,

With each twist and turn,

Your stomach will churn,

But what fate are all these riders facing?

Contagion: Review (Film)

One touch and you will get infected,

Then death is what’s to be expected,

But as most try avoid it,

There’s some who exploit it,

In these stories all inter-connected.

Soundwave are indeed still proving themselves to be the most fancy free, unconventional festival on the circuit this week by moving their second announcement, originally schedule for December to this week. And, as has been the case with all previous festivals they have already started revealing cancellations, just a week after the lineup was confirmed.

 AJ Maddah has again,...
