The four-piece force of chaos will be in town this October.

Jesus Piece have announced a massive Asia Pacific tour that will be making its way to Australia, presented by the underground party people of Wavyland. They’ll be starting out their time in the country with a rabid performance at Melbourne’s Max Watts.

The Philadelphia band will be touring off the back of their acclaimed sophomore album, …So Unknown, released in April of this year.

After coming out of the gates hot with a heavy self-titled demo EP in 2016, the band has quickly garnered a reputation for delivering merciless yet melodic tracks and absolutely deranged live performances.

Since their debut, they’ve kept busy in supporting spots for heavy hitters including Ghostmane, Machine Girl, Year of the Knife, Show Me The Body and Code Orange. Fusing metal and industrial with an experimental twist, the band has gained a following along the fringes of the scene.

With their latest album, they have staked their claim as one of hardcore’s most exciting players. Touted by critics as “brutal” and “cathartic”, the ten-track release attempts to capture the violent ferocity and manic energy of the band’s live shows – “This is as close to a Jesus Piece experience as you’re going to get without standing in front of us,” says drummer Luis Aponte (LU2K).

For those who can’t get enough of thrashing around in the pit and heading home covered in sweat (among other things), the Jesus Piece tour is not to be missed.
