World-renowned ethologist and environmentalist Dr Jane Goodall will host a special fundraiser screening of her 45-minute documentary Jane Goodall - Reasons For Hope, followed by an intimate Q&A session at IMAX Melbourne on June 3.
This event is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Melburnians to come face-to-face with the celebrated conservationist as Dr Goodall returns to Australia for her ‘Reasons for Hope’ tour.
All ticket proceeds from the evening will directly support the Jane Goodall Institute of Australia, a non-profit organisation dedicated to fostering connections between people, animals, and our shared environment.

Dr Jane Goodall is an English ethologist and activist and one of the world’s foremost experts on chimpanzees. Goodall first went to Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania to observe its chimpanzees in 1960. Her studies made the ground breaking discovery that humans were not the only species to make and modify tools. The work she began continues to this day as one of the longest longitudinal studies of any species on earth.
Dr Goodall is one of the very few people accepted into a PhD program without an undergraduate degree. After 60 years studying the social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees, she is considered the world’s foremost expert on chimpanzees.
