It seems ignorant to begin a review of Falls Festival Lorne without acknowledging the tragic culmination of factors that led to the injury and emergency treatment of over 80 festival goers, with 20 hospitalised, and countless more attendees, friends and family at home traumatised.

Live Nation Entertainment has bought into 51`% of Secret Sounds, the promoter behind the 24-year old Falls Festival (Lorne, Marion Bay, Byron Bay, Fremantle) and Byron Bay’s 16-year old Splendour In the Grass. 

 

Secret Sounds is run by co-CEOs Jessica Ducrou and Powderfinger manager Paul Piticco. The news was announced this morning.
