Some of the festival's top artists will be making the rounds when they stop by Australia in July.
Can’t make it out to Byron Bay but feeling a little envious of the impressive Splendour in the Grass 2023 lineup? Now you can get in on the action yourself.
A whole heap of side shows has just been announced for Melbourne and Sydney (as well as a few for Perth, Adelaide and Auckland).

Presented by Secret Sounds and Astral People, the sideshows give out-of-towners a taste of what the festival is all about.
Leading the charge is the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The New York band, fronted by singer and pianist Karen O, was a foundational pillar of the Y2K New York indie rock scene and is now happily riding the wave of the indie sleaze revival.
When they come through Sydney and Melbourne, supported by LA rockers Automatic, they’ll be touring on the back of their latest album, Cool It Down, as well as throwing back to genre-defining hits like Maps and Heads Will Roll.

British experimental rapper Little Simz is set for two fiery headling slots in Melbourne and Sydney. “The love and support from down under never goes unnoticed and is heavily felt,” she says. “I’m excited to give my fans the experience they’ve been waiting for.”
Also on the hip-hop side of things, the rising alternative rap star Iann Dior is set for a pair of dates in the country’s biggest cities. The young artist broke out in 2020 with his viral hit single Mood and has since worked with artists including Machine Gun Kelly, Trippie Redd and Travis Barker.
The ever-popular Slowthai, who was most recently in town for Laneway and a few solo shows, just can’t seem to get enough of Australia. The rapper will return in July to tour through Auckland, New Plymouth, Perth, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne on top of his Splendour date.
Following a series of sell-out headlining shows last September, the Swedish pop star Tove Lo is scheduled for shows in Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney. The talented songwriter and vivacious vocalist rose to prominence with the release of her platinum-certified 2014 album Queen of the Clouds.
Alongside her Splendour performance, British indie darling Arlo Parks will be touring throughout Australia and New Zealand. She’s set to release her latest work, My Soft Machine, on May 26. The singer-songwriter is best known for her heartfelt lyricism and impeccable voice.
And if you’re still holding out hope that your favourite artist will make a stop in town, don’t fret: we’re expecting more sideshows to be announced soon. Keep your eyes on the prize.
