Sacha Baron Cohen pranks right-wing event, mimics racist country singer

The lauded satirist is up to mischief again.

Sacha Baron Cohen, the esteemed actor behind the likes of Borat and Bruno, has long been a critique of America and its system and now he’s taken things a step further by pranking a right-wing rally in Olympia, Washington.

Dressed up as a bearded redneck with overalls on, Cohen gallivanted on stage and sung of injecting Barack Obama and Dr. Anthony Fauci with the “Wuhan Flu”. Many of the far-right punters appeared to cheer along to Cohen’s song which was filled with racist references.

The event was organised by far-right militia group, Washington State Three Percenters, who appeared to have given Cohen the go-ahead to perform. But they never would have foreseen the ensuing events.

Once they’d clued onto Cohen’s mischievousness, the organisers attempted to pull the plug on his equipment but the actor’s security prevented them from doing so. After a passionate eight-minute performance, Cohen exited stage right and escaped the event in a private ambulance situated nearby.
