Making theatre history this year, she picked up a record-breaking sixth Tony award for her portrayal of Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill. She can add that to her accolade collection, which also includes two Grammy awards and an Emmy nomination.
Her theatre credits include Porgy and Bess, A Raisin in the Sun, Ragtime and Master Class, as well as starring in long-running TV dramas such as Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice.
Audra will be joined on stage with her trio, performing show tunes and reworked popular classics, as well as some original pieces written especially for her.
